The Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a fortified city (ksar). Located on a hill along the Ounila River, this city is known for its Kasbahs. Many Hollywood movies like Gladiator and Alexander were shot here.

Djemaa el Fna

Located in Marakkech, this town offers snake charmers, story tellers, magicians, singers, food stalls, peddlers of traditional medicine, people with monkeys and much more to enchanted tourists.

Ruins of Chellah

It is a necropolis and a complex of ancient Roman ruins. Located in the outskirts of Rabat, it is the most ancient human settlement in the mouth of the Bou Regreg River. Many structures in the region were damaged in the 1755 earthquake.

Erg Chebbi

This is one of the two Saharan ergs. An erg is a large dune formed by wind-blown sand. You can find beautiful dunes (with their orange colored sand), as tall as 150 meters. Camel ride is a popular activity here. It is advisable to start your excursion from Merzouga.

Essaouira

Hassan II Mosque

This huge mosque is located in Casablanca. It is the largest mosque in Morocco. More than 80,000 people can gather inside the building. You can easily fit in Norte Dame Castle inside this huge structure.

Todra Gorge 

Located in the east side of the High Atlas Mountains, this canyon is well-maintained. You will definitely enjoy the last 600 meters of this gorge. Rock climbing is a popular activity in this region.
