Temple of Poseidon

Located in Sounio, this temple is dedicated to Poseidon, god of the sea. This marble temple is situated atop sheer cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea. Lord Byron carved his name on one of the pillars of this temple.

Island of Hydra

Vehicles are not allowed in this small island. It has a charming harbor and places of worship and high quality taverns. You cannot find nude beaches in this island. While visiting the monasteries here, you need to ensure that you are fully clothed, so that even the arms are covered.
