Medina 

Madina is only next to Mecca as a place of pilgrimage for Muslims. The mosque of the Prophet houses many relics of the Prophet Mohammad. You can find many mosques in Medina, including the oldest mosque in the world, the Quba mosque.

Al-Hijr archaeological site 

It is the first World Heritage property to be inscribed in Saudi Arabia. You can find monumental tombs with decorated facades dating back to the 1st century BC. The site stands as an example of the Nabataean’s architectural achievement.

Dumat Al-Jandal 

Located in western Saudi Arabia, this ancient city of ruins has a history dating back to the 10th century BC. You can find many castles and mosques here.

Al Mamlaka Tower

Located inRiyadh, this structure is also known as the Kingdom Tower. With 43 floors, it is the second highest building in Saudi Arabia. The view of the city from the public observation deck in the building is spectacular.

Jamarat Bridge

This beautiful pedestrian bridge is located in Mina, near Mecca. Constructed in the year 1963, this bridge is used by Muslims during the stoning of the devil ritual of the Hajj. More than a million people may gather in the area of the bridge.

Masmak Fort

This clay and mud brick fort is located in Riyadh. The fort has four watch towers and thick walls. It was built in the later part of the 19th century. The fort’s Palm Tree Gate is 3.65 meters high.

Empty Quarter

Also known as the Rub al Khali, this endless sea sand stretches over many countries. It is the largest sand desert in the world. You can find sand dunes everywhere around you.
