Valentines Day At Niagara Falls

Where better to spend your Valentines Day than a visit to Niagara Falls.

One of the things about Valentines day is it only happens once a year so for the majority of us Valentines day is a very memorable day of the year.  And if you say anything different to the missus you might end up sleeping on the sofa tonight.  One of the  great things about Niagara Falls if you haven’t been before is that it is absolutely unforgettable.  The view is amazing and there is lots to do while you are there.

So if you are looking a Valentines day treat never to be forgotten a trip to Niagara Falls comes highly recommended.  🙂 For anyone like me who wasn’t an A Rated Geography Student!

When visiting Niagara Falls there are two different approaches.  You can visit the United States Side Of Niagara  or you can visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.  When I was there I drove from New York State to the American side of Niagara Falls.   You can then cross the bridge and go into the Canadian side. As long as your  entry Visa’s Etc are in order.

When we went a couple of my friends where from Poland and would have not been allowed into Canada without A Visa so we all stayed on the New York side of the border.  If you wanted to make your Valentines day even more interesting before or after Niagra Falls why not spend a couple of nights in New York and do some shopping while you are there.

Of course we all know how much the ladies like shopping but before going make sure you bring a heavy wallet 😉  Be it heavy with credit cards or cash..

Of course from a safety point of view it may be an idea to spread your money cards etc round a few wallets in case of any emergencies or disasters.

Make sure to also bring a good mobile phone or camera/video camera ETC.    That way you can get some photos and videos of your Valentines day in Niagara Falls and be able to look at them for many years to come.

If hiring cars from New York To Niagara Falls. Make sure they give the the all in price as they tend to tell you one price for the car hire and then you pay triple the price on the card. When asked why the price is triple the receptionists at hertz replied the price does not include the insurance or state taxes.  So make sure you find out those when booking your car for hire..  As you do not want to get any unpleasant surprises along the way.
