Saint Basil’s Cathedral

This Russian Orthodox Church’s design is shaped as a flame of a bonfire rising into the sky. It was erected on the Red Square in Moscow in the later part of the 16th century upon orders from Ivan the Terrible.

The State Hermitage Museum

This museum of art and culture is located in Saint Petersburg. Founded in 1764, it is one of the oldest and the largest museum in the world. You can find more than three million exhibits here. The museum has the largest collection of paintings in the world.

Grand Cascade at Peterhof

Located in Saint Petersburg, this grandiose structure includes a grotto, two cascading staircases and 64 fountains. The two staircases lead to an enormous semi-circular basin. Here you will find a giant statue of Samson wrestling with a lion.

Tretyakov Gallery

This famous art gallery is located inMoscow. It is the foremost depository of the Russian fine art. The gallery offers more than 130,000 exhibits to its visitors. You will find a sculpture garden outside the gallery.

Kolomenskoye

This former royal estate is located near the Kolomna road. The palace is well-known for its fairy-tale roofs and intricate corridors. It was the favorite residence of many Czars.
